only 19 more days....but who is really counting anyways?

It's finally official. I have a set in the appointment books deliver date. I am so happy. Due to more complications of late the doc bumped up my deliver date another week so it looks like we will now have an October baby. We go on Monday, October 3o at 10:30am for a check in with a scheduled surgery date of 12:30pm. Of course that is provided I can make it that far without making another trip to the hospital between now and then. If we do have to go back then one of two things will happen....either I get a permanent stay in the hospital until my deliver date or he will deliver me. Which ever the baby and body will allow. And while the thought of an even earlier deliver does appeal to me physically it's not exactly in the best interest of the baby. He is already getting delivered a month early but some days I long for 6 weeks early. However I do want as healthy and hearty of a baby as possible so I'll survive. I am saddened that I will not be able to be home to see the boys go out and trick or treat this year but they can come visit me in the hospital and show off their costumes. Who knows, the nurses may even have some kind of "treats" for them. I am getting a little more nervous about our upcoming delivery. I've never had a C-section before so it will be interesting. I dread having to stay in the hospital for an extended recovery time. With the last baby I went home the day after he was born. I have the worst time trying to rest in the hospital and just hope my three days there wont be completely restless. I mean really, beyond the nurses coming to check on you it should be good right? Nice quiet room, food and drink upon request and any help with self or baby you could want. Plus no one to argue with over the remote or phone! Well no matter the outcome, the countdown is on and I'm thankful.
