We've been busy the last few months. I hope everyone has had happy holidays and a good start to the new year so far.
For us, everyone is doing well. Garrison is really growing in school this year and has made some really nice friends who also happen to have some awesome parents to go with them.
Declan is looking forward to starting T-ball this season and not fully understanding how time works has become very impatient waiting until practices start in March. Declan has also recently finished his last round of allergy testing and we now have a more complete list of allergy triggers. He is deathly allergic to both peanuts and scallops and we carry our Epi-Pen and Benadryl everywhere we go. He is also allergic to all trees and grasses, zoo animals, geese and goose down, hamsters, guinea pigs and similar animals as well as bananas, citrus, dairy, peaches, pineapple, and red dye.
Corbin has become quite the kid these days. He is still the "baby" but let's us know on a regular basis what a big kid he is as well. He is mostly potty trained other than overnight at this point and I can't tell you how wonderful that is for me! He is very proactive in dressing himself and loves to help. He helps with the dishwasher, setting or unsetting the table, laundry and anything else he is able to reach.
Ryan is still with Collier's and I think finally finding his place there. He was worried about being laid off again but after a recent meeting is seems his job is fairly secure. Plus they want to send him to a few classes which would be fantastic. So we say a prayer and keep our fingers crossed that things just go up from here.
As for me.....I'm still volunteering at Garrison's school whenever I can and have offered up any help I can for their upcoming production of Annie. I have been busy with Avon and am thankful to have a faithful following even when the economy demands our dollars go to more important things. I have made two new year's resolutions. I am going to try to blog more this year and stress less about our finances and health. I hope everyone else has reachable goals this year and wish you all the best!
