dreaming of ghouls and goblins

Here she is. The one I dream about. The one I salivate over. Isn't she just awesome? We discovered her last year about this time. She stands 5' tall and stirs her cauldron which emits a wonderful fog. She also talks AND some models even come with a wireless mic that you can talk into. Now here is the problem.......when we first saw her last year we saw one that didn't have the wireless mic and so was a fairly reasonable price. A short time later we saw the one that included the mic for a substantially heftier price. So while we pondered and muddle over the cost and if we really wanted to spend the money on her, she sold out. She sold out everywhere. Not just one or two websites but every single one. It was just astonishing! We knew we must have been on to something here. So we diligently waited and watched daily and sometimes 3 and 4 times each day. Finally they started to show up again but this time with a distinct difference. They were hugely inflated in price! They had become such a hot item that online retailers where able to jack up the prices and still sell them. What the heck man! So unfair to us Libra's who can't make up our minds right away. So yesterday I got an "alert" email. My witch was here and only 99 cents to ship! I swooned with delight. Of course then I picked myself up with a mental slap and resigned myself to another year of no witch. For this year I just can't afford to spend the extra on her. But all is not lost! We have already trimmed the front yard tree and are looking extensively for new, exciting and inexpensive decor we can add to our collection this year. We've found some wonderfully cool stuff and the ideas are in abundance! I aspire and dream large even if I fail in execution and settle for less. But I know eventually it's all going to be my dream yard at Halloween and then I will be content. Until then I will dream up new and exciting things that I want to try for the coming season. Oh!
