a little bit of nothing much

Yesterday I think I hit an all time high (or low, depending on how you look at it) of dropping things. I seem to have a problem keeping a handle on things. I'm not really sure why. It could be distraction, tiredness or something else. What I do know is that I'm really tired up picking up broken and spilled things. Just yesterday alone I dropped a bowl (plastic, thankfully!), a cup (not plastic, unfortunately), a jar of baby food, the baby formula can (opened of course), my lunch (all over the floor) and a cup half full of juice. Luckily I've yet to drop any children!

I have a couple of lists going on to keep me on track so I decided to make a list of my lists. Silly I know.

We had friends over visit this weekend and had a fantastic time laughing and playing. I miss that on a regular basis. I wish we lived closer.

Going to a wedding this weekend by the beach. I love this kind of beach. Foggy, cool and gray. Bits of sun but not tropical. I don't need the worry of a tropical beach and the possibility of my kids spontaneously combusting in the sunshine!

Reconnected with a good friend after more than a decade of not knowing what happened to them. It's fun to catch up. I miss good friends and am glad to have another re-emerge into my life.

I'm finding it interesting that not only do all my friends and aquaintances from HS have kids but almost all the kids are the same age. Well mostly....mine are pretty much the youngest but still it's interesting to see.

Fourth of July is coming and I'm looking forward to the fireworks show at the park. I could sit and watch aerial fireworks for hours on a blanket in a field and be just happy!

I'm tired and long for one night of completely uninterrupted sleep.

I'm missing ice cream right now but am enjoying the muscle achiness of working more than they are used to. That makes me more determined to continue pushing forward to a healthier me.
