In this day and age it is very rare for relationships, of any kind, to survive the test of time. Yet somehow Lex and I have remained friends for almost 20 years. Many marriages don't even last that long any more let alone fri
So as we have been looking back and reflecting on our friendship we wondered what we did to make it last so long and so solidly. I think we finally hit the nail on the head. Long ago we vowed to not have our picture taken together as best friends. Why? Well, way back when we were all still in school every time someone took a picture with a friend and labeled it BFF, they ended up definately not being BFF's. I, myself had a few of those pics. So we figured if we never had our photo taken then we couldn't possible ruin our friendship. And by golly I think we might have been on to something there! I've been going through all my old photos trying to sort them out and in all the many pictures I have I've come across 3, yes 3 pictures of her and I together. If you don't count our respective wedding photos. We took our 4th photo together just this last weekend. I guess we figured it was safe to finally take a couple of pics together. And perhaps we are crazy but it's worked just fine.
So as we rapidly approach the anniversary of when we first met and became friends we are looking forward to another 20 years of laughter, fun and friendship. Only this time we will take 20 years of photos together!

That is so very sweet! Let's just hope we didn't jinx ourselves!! I love you lots and couldn't have asked for a better friend to spend my girlie life with!! Even if we never take a picture again you will always be my BFF or at the very least my crazy "sister" that I'll tell the kids stories about. Love you!
