So I have this little tree thing. Not really sure what it is. I've had it about 3 years now and for the first year it struggled mightly in a pot. Never had enough water, not enough sun, too much sun. It was just never happy. Then I finally got it in the ground. It seemed to be very happy. This winter for the first time I got out there and decided to prune it way back as I was pruning everything else. I was taking the let's see what happens approach! Well it seemed to like being pruned as this is the first time it's ever had flowers. It has always had just green leaves before so when I walked into the backyard the other day I was very surprised to see beautiful pink flowers all over my little tree. What a lovely sight!
We have been basking in wonderful 80 degree weather the last few days and are trying to enjoy it while we can as the rains will return again. The only draw back is that the boys and I are all suffering greatly with allergies. We are all hopped up on allergy meds and are acting a bit crazier than normal! But although we do suffer we are so greatful for the beautiful weather and the break from the winter chills! So I hope all of you are enjoying the same kind of nice weather we are and soaking up the sun!
