a moment to remember my dear friend dairy......

My dear friends of cyberspace, please take a moment and remember my dear friend dairy. I miss dairy so. Dairy was always good to me, rich, creamy, and oh so yummy. Now I can only dream of cheese and milk, yogurt and real cream in my coffee. Let's not forget the grand daddy of all the yummiest dairy, ice cream! Lovely, dreamy, heavenly ice cream. Chocolate (my friend), chocolate fudge (my dream), mocha almond fudge (I love you), rocky road (may I have another scoop please!), pecan praline, vanilla, chocolate chip, peanut butter cup......I could go on all day. Crystal, Tillamook, Ben and Jerry, Hagen Daaz I bow down to your superior hold over my heart and waist line. My infant is now almost 5 months old and for the last 3 and a half months I have been primarily diary free. You see, my dear son is lactose intolerant and I am a nursing mom. So anything I eat affects him. But I think a break is near. My son is currently getting settled into the cereal and fruit routine and is slowly starting to take formula a little during the day. But until we reach a time when I can indulge in a carton of ice cream I ask you to all fondly remember my dear friend dairy and please let dairy know all is not forgotten or lost, just momentairly put on hold.
